These terms apply to your use of this website and to engagements with A&S Financial Consultants.
Use of this website
The content on this website is provided for general information. It is not accounting, tax, investment or legal advice and should not be relied on as such. Advice is given only under a signed engagement letter.
Engagements
Every engagement is governed by a written scope setting out deliverables, timelines and fees. Work begins once that scope is agreed. Changes to scope are agreed in writing before additional work is undertaken.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted per engagement or on a monthly retainer. Invoices are payable within the terms stated on the invoice. We reserve the right to pause work on materially overdue accounts.
Client responsibilities
Our deliverables depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. You remain responsible for the decisions you take and for your own statutory filings and compliance obligations.
Intellectual property
Case studies, models, templates, written content and branding on this website are the property of the firm and its clients. Deliverables published in our portfolio are provided for viewing only; downloading, copying, printing or redistributing them is not permitted. On completion of an engagement, you receive full ownership of the deliverables produced for you.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information as confidential. Client names and deliverables appear in our portfolio only with explicit permission; everything else is published anonymised or withheld entirely.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in respect of any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
No investment, tax or audit services
We are financial consultants, not regulated investment advisers, auditors or tax agents. Nothing we prepare constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, an audit or review opinion, or a filing position. Forecasts, valuations and models are prepared from assumptions supplied or agreed by you; they describe possible outcomes, not guaranteed ones, and actual results will differ. Where an engagement requires a regulated opinion, we will tell you and refer you to an appropriately licensed professional.
Third-party tools and links
This website may embed or link to third-party services such as scheduling, analytics and messaging tools. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Enquiries and free consultations
Submitting the enquiry form is a request to be contacted; it does not create an engagement and places no obligation on either side. A free consultation is a discussion, not advice you should act on without a signed scope. We aim to reply within one working day, though response times are targets rather than guarantees. Forms are protected against automated abuse, and we may decline or block submissions that appear automated or abusive.
Free resources and downloads
Checklists, templates and sample deliverables are offered free for your own business use. You may use and adapt them internally, but you may not resell them, publish them, or present them as your own work. They are provided as they are, without warranty, and we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of a free template. Access is given in exchange for the contact details you supply, and providing accurate details is a condition of use.
Newsletter and communications
By signing up for a resource or the newsletter you agree to receive occasional emails from us. Each email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately for marketing while leaving any active engagement unaffected.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies are required for the site to work. Analytics cookies load only after you accept them in the consent banner, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. How the data is used is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms and any engagement made under them are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a signed engagement letter states otherwise for a specific client.
