The engagement

A first-time food-truck founder needed to compare build-out and pricing choices side by side before committing capital, without guessing at break-even.

What we built

A 7-tab model: an assumptions-driven summary, a capital comparison across 3 build options, a 6-month P&L, a cash flow tracking the operating reserve, a break-even analysis across 3 pricing scenarios, and Phase 2 expansion notes for a future events trailer.

The outcome

Startup capital ranging $56K to $123K by build option, $48K to $67K in monthly operating profit, and a break-even of roughly 290 to 398 units/day against a 2,700/day target, an 85% to 89% margin of safety.
